Manchester (UK), 11th January 2025 – Digital Projection will paint the town red (and green, and blue) at Integrated Systems Europe 2025, showcasing its cutting-edge new 1-chip projectors – which incorporate Texas Instruments’ groundbreaking High-Efficiency-Pixel (HEP) DMD for never-before-seen colour accuracy and native contrast – and Nexus electronics platform, for unparalleled precision and control over projector installations.
Under the banner of its new campaign, We Love Colour, the Digital Projection stand (3K700, in ISE Hall 3) will centre on the unprecedented colour reproduction offered by the company’s state-of-the-art new 1-chip DLP projectors: the E-Vision 16000i-WU and E-Vision 10000i RGB 4K+.
Powered by a 0.8” HEP digital micromirror device (DMD), the E-Vision 16000i-WU features increased mirror tilt angle for improved light efficiency and ‘filled via’ technology for higher native contrast, delivering unprecedented image quality, brightness and efficiency. Digital Projection’s proprietary ColorBoost + Red Laser technology further enhances the E-Vision 16000i’s visual capabilities, achieving reds and a colour gamut that far exceeds REC709 standards.
The new E-Vision RGB represents a further leap forward in 1-chip projection technology, achieving the full REC 2020 colour space at 4K+ resolution, for cinematic-grade visuals without the artefacts associated with traditional 1-Chip DLP projectors with colour wheels. With 10,000 lumens and HDR support, the RGB laser-illuminated E-Vision RGB delivers stunningly realistic visuals with dynamic contrast ratios of up to 10,000:1.
Demonstrating that Digital Projection has a projector for every project and application, booth 3K700 will additionally be home to the M-Vision 30000 WU – with 30,000 lumens the brightest 1-chip DLP projector on the market – and the E-Vision 15000i 4K+, which features the same 0.8” HEP DMD as the 16000i, and excels in multi-channel set-ups thanks to its Nexus electronics platform and is perfect for blending due to the extra pixels the 4K+ resolution affords.
Ahead of ISE, the company has reiterated its “performance guaranteed” promise with a market-leading five-year warranty, underscoring its commitment to its customers and confidence in the quality of its projectors.
In addition to a hands-on demo area and immersive room, both are which are designed to demonstrate the power of the advanced warp and blend at the core of the Nexus tech stack, stand 3K700 will incorporate a tunnel installation featuring end-to-end projection mapping by a single Digital Projection projector. Visitors to the tunnel experience will learn how, by teaming a cost-effective E-Vision projector with a hemispherical lens, they can quickly and easily create immersive spaces in curved or dome environments.
“For ISE 2025, Digital Projection is excited to demonstrate how our latest innovations are redefining what’s possible in projection,” says Mark Wadsworth, vice-president of global marketing at Digital Projection.
“In addition to delivering world-beating colour accuracy and performance, our latest projectors mark a huge step forward when it comes to energy efficiency, using only half the power of comparable models from just three years ago. Our commitment to efficiency and quality – underlined by our five-year warranty – ensures that our products not only meet the needs of AV professionals but also align with a more sustainable future.”
To discover more, visit Digital Projection in Hall 3 on stand #3K700. ISE returns to the Fira de Barcelona from 4th to 7th February 2025.

At CEDIA Expo 2024, Digital Projection is adding a new member to its single-chip laser projector lineup. The forthcoming E-Vision 10000i RGB projector represents a major technological milestone, incorporating a host of cutting-edge technologies enabled by Texas Instruments’ all-new 0.8” HEP (high-efficiency pixel) DMD (digital micromirror device) chip.
Combined with Digital Projection’s Nexus electronics platform, the HEP DMD delivers the performance of full RGB laser technology in the smaller footprint of a laser phosphor projector. These cutting-edge, single-chip features also contribute to easier setup than conventional projectors that use three individual red, green and blue lasers.
The single-chip 4K design eliminates the artifacts and color separation commonly associated with projectors utilizing a conventional RGB color wheel, while achieving 4K+ resolution, 10,000 lumens, HDR without brightness decay, REC 2020 color space, and a contrast ratio between 2,400:1 and 3000:1.
“Our goal at Digital Projection is to continually push the performance of our projectors to deliver the most accurate, lifelike images possible. This mission is reflected in the E-Vision 10000i RGB laser projector. By incorporating a completely new chip design, we’ve been able to introduce to the custom integration community a host of groundbreaking performance features,” says Digital Projection VP of operations Mike Akridge. “In a league of its own, the E-Vision 10000i RGB sets a new standard of excellence and we’re thrilled to be able to preview it to integrators at CEDIA Expo.”
CEDIA Expo attendees can be the first to see this next-generation laser projector by visiting Digital Projection for a sneak peek at Booth #2108. Slated for launch later this year, the E-Vision 10000i RGB laser projector sets a new benchmark for imaging performance.

HDR (High Dynamic Range) defines the relationship between the video signal and the corresponding display performance (color, contrast, and brightness). It removes the limitations presented by older video signals and creates images with a broader range of colors and detail in both the bright and dark areas of the image. HDR-capable displays can read the updated format and show an image built from a wider gamut of color and brightness. HDR video simply contains more data to describe more steps in between the extremes. This means that bright objects and dark objects on the same screen can be shown to high degrees of brightness and darkness if the display supports it, with all the necessary steps in between described in the signal and not synthesized by the image processor.
Similarly, HDR-compatible displays can produce deeper and more vivid reds, greens, and blues, and show more color variation in between. Deep shadows aren’t simply black voids; more details can be seen in the darkness, while the picture stays dark. Bright shots aren’t simply sunny, vivid pictures; fine details in the brightest surfaces remain clear. Vivid objects aren’t simply saturated; more degrees of color can be seen.

Digital Projection’s E-Vision 4000 challenges some of the market’s biggest brands for projection supremacy at the $5,000 price point.
Excerpt from review by Bob Archer for CE Pro. The original article can be found here.
About 15 years ago—give or take—Digital Projection burst onto the residential custom electronics scene and quickly won integrators over with its high-performance line of projectors. Today the company makes a range of products to serve not only the luxury side of the market, which is what the company initially targeted when it entered the market, but through its new mid-level priced E-Vision 4000, the company now reaches a much broader consumer audience.
The $5,300 E-Vision 4000 provides integrators with a competitively priced projector that comes from a company with professional video roots. Designed to support a range of home video installations that includes dedicated theater and multipurpose rooms, the reasonably priced projector offers a lot of system flexibility for both integrators and homeowners.
Earlier this year I was first exposed to the projector at Digital Sales Group Metro’s grand showroom reopening this past February (2023) in Plainview, N.Y. Intrigued by the unit, I reached out to the company to request a review sample.
Digital Projection E-Vision 4000 Features and Setup
Shipping in a single box, the single-chip UHD 4K projector is approximately the same size as other products in its price class and in the same weight neighborhood too.
After removing my projector and lifting the Digital Projection unit from its box I placed the E-Vision 4000 on my “projector shelf,” which is roughly 12 feet from my screen. I then plugged a FIBBR fiber-optic cable that’s running from my Integra DRX-3.4 AVR into HDMI input 1 and plugged the power cable in.
Some of the ways that Digital Projection streamlines the cost of the 4000 unit is through features like the product’s manual zoom and focus, as well as its horizontal and vertical lens shift options.
Looking at the foundation of the projector, the Digital Projection product utilizes a single 0.47-inch Texas Instruments DarkChip 3 DMP chip, and a laser phosphor light engine that help the projector produce a UHD 4K compliant resolution and brightness levels up to 3,300 ANSI lumens of brightness/3,800 ISO lumens.
The E-Vision 4000 also offers a pair of HDMI inputs, HDR processing, 3D support, vertical keystone correction, selectable aspect ratio modes, and HDBaseT connection options.
Setting up the projector took no time.
As I noted earlier, unboxing and making the connections were easy. Once I turned the projector on, I also found that setting the screen size, geometry and focus was also easy. The focus and zoom controls are located on rings on the projector lens. The horizontal and vertical shift controls are located on the top of the projector underneath an integrated hidden compartment. I like the feel of manual lens controls when compared to many of the powered lenses on the market. The movements seem more precise, but with that said I do understand that powered lenses are more convenient in situations such as ceiling-mounted projectors.
Not to get off-track, I then proceeded to enter the projector’s menu system, which I thought was easy to navigate. In the menu I made my various adjustments, including picture mode, black levels and contrast levels, and aspect ratio.
CE Pro Features
- Up to 3,300 ANSI lumens of brightness/3,800 ISO lumens
- Contrast ratios up to 500,000:1 (Advanced Black technology)
- Laser phosphor light engine with a rated life expectancy up to 20,000 hours
- One 0.47-inch Texas Instruments DarkChip 3 DMP chip
- UHD resolution of 3840 x 2160
- Two HDMI inputs and built-in support for HDBaseT signal transmission
- MSRP is $5,300
Performance and Final Thoughts
I will add I didn’t fine tune the E-Vision 4000 because my critical evaluation was to take place with a Screen Innovations Zero Edge Pro Pure White fixed screen. Initially, I paired the projector with an ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen to get the Digital Projection review going, however.
